Cougars Basketball Club has a proud history and tradition. Formed in 1969 as the East Brunswick Basketball Club (E.B.B.C), the club serviced the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne. The club moved to the outer northern suburbs in 1975 and now plays in the Mill Park and Diamond Valley Competitions and continues the tradition of servicing the local community and promotes the sport of basketball to children and adults in a family orientated environment.
